Christine is a freelance journalist who started her writing career as a junior in high school when she landed her first byline for a weekly column in her town's local paper The Niagara Advance. She still lives in that town and writes out of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, often referred to as "the prettiest town in Canada". Since then her work has appeared in a myriad of newspapers and magazines, and has been featured in magazines including SZ Mag, the only international magazine dedicated to schizophrenia. Christine is also a former Examiner and operated both a Relationships and Politics channel until Examiner closed. She is a graduate level educated single mom to a teenage boy with Autism. She writes on everything from relationships and lifestyles issues to investigating news that matters. When she's not writing, she spends her free time traveling to destinations to explore those stories, baking goodies at home, and writing creative fiction based on the real life stories she encounters on a daily basis.
