Hello warm hearts, glad to see ya,
I've been writing for about 15 years now. Whew. I have been published in many national magazines (Free Inquiry, Skeptical Inquirer, cover story for the Free Thinker in the U.K.) and, many nationally known and recognized websites and blogs like Free Republic (which was at one time the 4th leading conservative website worldwide. (Now the top spots go to people like Drudge, Breitbart, Fox is #1, of course.) Also Canada's best indie publication-Canada Free Press, Angry White Dude and many more. I have had two books published by so-called regular publishers, Above Us Only Sky from Cacothes Press in San Francisco, and I guess about 7 books here with Amazon's Kindle.
My subjects are really, without sounding too erudite, the human condition in all its bloody machinations. Politics, psychology, religion, money, sex, the whole mess, it's all in there. I suppose my primary targets are these endless ideologies that people adopt. Could be a religion, could be a political ideology, there are endless candidates. Two quotes I would give you, one from George Carlin, "We're all trash, it helps to remember that." And it really does. And two, mine, "Nothing's real. We're all just pretending like good robots should." Are you a good robot? Or as the Beatles said, "you've been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long." No long faces, only happy faces are allowed, now snap to it!!! (***Carlin doesn't use the word TRASH, but I'm getting notes that I can't write what he said, so use your imagination and you'll undoubtedly be right.
I have recently also taken an interest in 40's and 50's Los Angeles. You know there were a lot of women killed in that era (Black Dahlia, the most infamous) and not many people caught. I look at that in two books.
Another one I think you should consider is my "How to Beat the System with a Sledgehammer." It's a current, practical guide on beating the system, bending it, massaging it and twisting it to your own advantage. Remember all those Wall Street Companies that got bailouts? Did you get a bailout? I didn't, so I took some of my own anyway. (Can't go into exact details, but...) A book on how to play the angles regardless of their supposed legality. An insider's gem.
One last salvo. If you're an outdoors-man or woman and you've heard of the Forrest Fenn treasure, this is your book. I've located this treasure down to about a two or three square mile area. All you've got to do is have young enough legs and lungs to got you there into the wilderness and grab it. I'd love to but that nasty sweet bird of youth has left me here, crying, all alone.
Thank you my friendly friends, and get your pocket change ready for some blistering prose.
BTW-Had to get my kitty neutered-now he's a liberal.
