Also follow me on:

I freely admit I’m a nerd. There is nothing I love more than sitting on the couch, watching a good movie, TV show, reading a good book or listening to some great music. I love all types of movies, books, music, but I’m especially fond of science fiction, British comedy and dramas, mysteries, and ska, new wave and funk.

I also like to get off my ass every once in a while, especially since I’ve gotten older and my middle aged spread has gotten wider. So yes, I’ve force myself to get more active, eat healthier and leave the comforts of the couch.

The question is: Can I remain committed to my inner couch potato and yet be more active?

I’ve been privileged to live in many different places in my life, not only in the U.S. but also in Europe and the Middle East. Perhaps this has given me a unique perspective on life and things.

I think I have an interesting world view and would like to share it. I’ll be commenting on all types of books, music, TV and film as well as pop-culture and products. Even from the couch I am an active consumer.

So I hope you all enjoy what I write about. Feel free to comment.
