My name is Karabo Hlongwane, otherwise known as Cranberry Kay, and I’m a fitness and nutrition blogger passionate about helping others lead a healthy and active lifestyle. I’ve been on my own fitness journey for several years now and I’ve learned that it’s not just about hitting the gym or starting your own thing at home like I did, but also about making the right food choices and having a positive mindset.
I believe that health and wellness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their starting point. That’s why I strive to create easy-to-follow workout plans and share simple, healthy recipes that are both delicious and nutritious.
I used to work a nine to five as a programme manager for a large telecommunications company before life happened, if you know what I mean, and now I have learned how to use excess time from being unemployed to create income streams online. Among those I decided to capitalize on, was the fact that I started to work out more, because I lost a job and noticed how much fitter I became now that I was actually paying attention to my health. Being sedentary looking for work at home, caused me to gain weight fast, so I had to do something and that is how my journey started.
I constantly educate myself on the latest research and trends in the fitness and nutrition industry and love to experiment with new workouts and recipes and share my experiences with my followers.
My goal is to inspire others to lead a healthier life and to help make healthy living more approachable and enjoyable. I believe that with the right mindset, determination, and a little bit of guidance, anyone can reach their fitness and nutrition goals.
