Love, that one word can be used in many different ways. Although, in the end love is love no matter how the word is used. I believe, to this day, that love "makes the world go 'round." The reason I believe love (and not money) powers the rotation of the earth is due to the fact that I can see proof in the world around me. For instance: the love of science and/or math have given us things we love and use to this day like the light bulb, TV's, computers, smartphones, social media, and many more things. Love of power and money brings us our current social and political situation. There are so many types of love in this world, and history, that I don't have the space to write about it all in this brief bio.

One of the most important, and one of my favorite loves, is the love of the arts. The arts have brought us some of the most beautiful things humans have ever laid eyes (or hands) on; the Mona Lisa, the Sistene Chapel, the Statue of David, and so very many more beauties that I can't think of or I don't know about.

My true love (and I'm not talking about romantic love) is that of the written word. The way authors, poets, playwrites, and songwriters make common every day words (and some not so every day words) flow into one cohesive story; some stories have hidden meanings, some have not so hidden meanings, and some with no meanings at all.

My love of stories stems from my childhood. The stories I remember reading over, and over, and over were fantasy. They took me out of my world and dropped me into another that ended happily, at least with hope for something better; which is what I want with my writing. I want to create a world that will take a person from their world, and by the end of the story the person reading it will take something positive from the story which may change their lives for the better.

I know it's a lot to expect from my writing, but "fairy tales" and "old wives tales" all have lessons in them (in one form or another) and I believe that stories have lost touch with thier roots and were replaced with stories that were created for entertainment value. Don't get me wrong, I love many forms of entertainment but I think entertainment and lessons can be combined, which is what I hope to do with my writing.
