I was a professional teacher for most of my life, but I am currently a child care provider, mother of four and grandmother. My most important status is that I am a sinner saved by grace.

I believe my purpose for being on earth is primarily to serve God and to encourage others, especially children, to do the same. I am not perfect, so I depend totally on Jesus Christ, to mold me into who I am supposed to be. I enjoy my talents, but I use them to inspire others to identify, develop and master their own.

My hobbies include photography, videography, music and writing. Even though I love oral story telling and writing, I never pursued publishing. I discovered hubpages in 2009, and it seems to be the outlet that I need to 'get my feet wet' in publishing. I find writing to be truly gratifying, and it is an honor for me to be a part of this great community of writers who have so much to offer the world.
