Small Picture Big Screen
A native of Colorado, I grew up in the beautiful mountain area of Summit County, about 70 miles west of Denver. While I have traveled across the country and back over the years, I have always found my way back home and still live here now. Thus, I have often been called a “boomerang.”
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism/Mass Communications from the University of Northern Colorado (Greeley) with a Minor in Speech Communications. I also achieved a Masters of Business Administration, Emphasis in Marketing from the University of Phoenix, Denver Campus, and a Paralegal Certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute.
I work in the ski industry while persuing my freelance writing career on the side. I currently writer as a blogger for Christy Sports and its company blog, "The Ridge Report." While I am not working or writing, I enjoy reading, creative writing, scrapbooking, researching family history, and the great outdoors. In the winter time, I enjoy skiing mostly, of course. In the summer months, I enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, and horseback riding. I also have two very active dogs that love to take me for walks down by the river.
As an aspiring writer, I simply hope to get my name and my work out there in the world to share with others, in the hope that my words might make a difference or at least touch someone’s heart.
