I live in Florida . I work in a credit union . I love to read, and write. I wish I had more time for blogs. I hope to write several books and use this site to encourage my desire to finish the ones I've started. I am married and have two sons, one in Houston, TX and one in Heaven.

I started writing poetry in 3rd grade. I won some contests and that encouraged me. But mostly when it gets in my head, I have to get up and write it down or I'll never get back to sleep editing and re-writing it in my brain.

If I feel strongly about something I can usually write about it easily. Otherwise I stew things around in my head for a few days then stop and write it out. I'm close to finishing a book. Need that extra umph to get it done.

I never thought of myself as super athletic but I rode long distances on bikes for years with bike events, walked daily, played tennis, snow skied every year, did some triathlons, and even learned hockey and played ice and roller hockey on woman's team leagues. I love to swim and paddle board now. But I was becoming limited on what I could do until recently, just had a hip replacement so I'm ready to be active again in a couple of months.

Because of the blogs I've written, I wanted privacy to protect the people I've written about. Who knew writing a blog about jail would be a featured hub? So I use a pen name. I'm sure someone could find me if they had an urgent desire, so no worries but no extra help either.

  Covid-19 true story, trying to get tested, what it feels like and afterwards. We heard from a doctor friend of where to get tested Monday, 4-6. We will go and hopefully our results will reflect what we just endured.
