I love being a journalist because I get to meet so many interesting and inspiring folks, such as athlete Zachary Young, who hopes to make it to the 2016 Paralympics. Or teenager Breann Strong, determined to live a healthier lifestyle. They’re just two of the people who shared their personal struggles and triumphs with me. When I’m not reporting for my local paper, I’m writing about active aging at Fitnessover50.me, a site I created so I could share my interest in fitness topics - physical, mental and spiritual.

        new icons?

Hi all, I haven't been on HP much and noticed a new icon for featured hubs (the green pencil) but several have a red mark in them and I can't tell if that's an exclamation point indicating something needs to be fixed or...

I see that one of my hubs was named Editor's Choice. But I don't see any notice of that to the 'outside world" - that is, I only see a tag next to the hub's title in my account. I'll certainly promote in on my FB...

should I unpublish and combine hubs?

I'm not sure who to ask so I'm tossing this question out to the community. I have a hub that was HOD a year or so ago. It has more than 900 words, a table, photos and a video. It's always been one of my better hubs. I...
