59Raising Sand Studio was the name of Danielle's first venture, which she launched in January of 2014. During this time, she worked as a Creative Consultant and Branding Specialist with a variety of different small businesses, including holistic doctor's offices, local artists, beauty professionals, and wellness specialists. Her clients came from a wide range of industries. Danielle used her knowledge to tell the tales of each company and to assist the owners of those brands in reaching new heights. She did this by having an empathic attitude to the individuals she worked with and an intuitive approach to her design methods. During this portion of her career, Danielle was in charge of supervising the implementation of strategic branding solutions that covered every facet of the process of beginning a firm. She helped her clients with everything from building a step-by-step guide to building their brand to filing the initial documents with the Secretary of State. In addition to that, she provided access to drawn design services, digital marketing content, and web development using a variety of different platforms.
Danielle worked as the Executive Manager, Officer, and Board Member for BoDo Chiropractic and Chiro for the People, a non-profit organization in Boise that was committed to providing basic healthcare access within and outside of the Treasure Valley, before she started her own business. In addition to keeping her position on the board of directors of the corporation throughout this time, Danielle also served in the roles of Secretary and Treasurer of the organization. Her contributions to the company included the following, to name just a few:
1. Preparation of the requisite documentation for filing with the Internal Revenue Service and the Secretary of State in order to formally incorporate Chiro for the People as a separate and distinct legal body
2. Developed the organizational bylaws for the entity.
3. Coordinated the assessment of the final initiating non-profit documentation with the legal counsel and met with them to discuss the findings
4. Developed the website for the company and produced all of the textual marketing content associated with it
5. Served as the company's primary point of coordination for all corporate communication
6. Responsible for the company's overall operational and financial health oversight
7. While Danielle was working at the clinic, she discovered that she had a deep-seated interest in starting and expanding small enterprises. This served as the impetus for what would take place afterwards.
