Demonstrating a profound commitment to giving back, David Toaff has been a dedicated supporter of the Beit Elazraki Children's Orphanage in Israel since 2014. His charitable endeavors expanded to include backing the Wounded Warriors project in 2016 and Magen David Adom, Israel's equivalent to the Red Cross, in 2017. His altruism also led him to volunteer with The Salvation Army in Washington, DC, in 2019 and extend his support to Manna Food Bank in 2023. His philanthropic journey began early, as he started aiding homeless individuals at the age of 16, showcasing a deep-rooted passion for helping others.
Looking forward, he celebrates a significant milestone in April – his 11th anniversary with First Home Mortgage, highlighting over a decade of unwavering commitment to the company. Additionally, he is eagerly preparing for an upcoming Homebuyer Seminar, set to be conducted with Realtor Terinee Bonds on March 27 and April 10 at Keller Williams in Hyattsville, MD. These programs are primarily for first-time homebuyers, but throughout MD, we can offer assistance for those who aren't first-timers as well. Of particular significance are $15,000 grants for first responders, up to $25,000 in grant money in Montgomery County, MD and over $100,000 in assistance available in Washington, DC. Another very interesting perk available is to first-time homebuyers in N. VA is the SPARC program, which allows for a 1% reduction in interest rate, with no additional cost to secure the below-market terms! This can be combined with either a 2% grant or 3% assistance loan, allowing for either 1% down or zero-down financing.
We also have a zero-down, no mortgage insurance product available, down to a 620 credit score. The program is more affordable than and can be closed faster than a similar program from Navy Federal Credit Union. Not to mention, our team is available 7 days a week and can be reached on evenings too.
