David Reedy has seen 35 years on this earth. He is a student of Christian and Buddhist ethics and philosophies (amongst others) and has studied communication and theatre at Eastern New Mexico University and has since acquired his B.S. in psychology from the University of Phoenix and his M.A. in psychology (emphasis on mediation and conflict resolution) from the University of the Rockies. Mr. Reedy has studied psychology and other forms of social sciences and humanities, as well as philosophy and political science for most of his life. Mr. Reedy strongly values freedom and self-efficacy of the individual and studies areas ranging from U.S. Constitutional history to contemporary findings in motivational theories.
Mr. Reedy spent several years working in various forms of customer service and for the last two years has worked in the private sector of social services and has counseled several individuals, both children and adults, in accomplishing their goals and in improving their coping skills in dealing with adversity. As a behavioral counselor, Mr. Reedy has helped abused children deal with their fears and build self-esteem. As a direct service provider, Mr. Reedy has helped several cognitively impaired individuals develop practical life skills and continues to do so. Mr. Reedy also serves as a mentor for students at the University of Phoenix, and is an adult mentor for the 6th Judicial District in Iowa and is currently spending his time putting together a comprehensive coaching program.
