I find myself on an unexpected journey at the age of 48. My wife and I of 22 plus years have three children, one in college, one in high school, and one in elementery school. After 22 plus years of vocational pastoral ministry I am on an unexpected journey out of church ministry for the time being and into a new job. This unexpected major life change has stimulated my lifelong love of writing and discovering Hubpages.

I am a child of the 80s and yes I still enjoy listening occasionally to classic 80s rock especially Boston. I am living in my 11th different zip code and grew up in New Jersey and have lived in Michigan, Montana, and currently reside in Indiana. How could I leave Montana? Yes, that is a story.

This past year I ran a 8-mile race, grew a 38 pound watermelon, harvested three whitetail deer, read a great book called "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality" by Pete Scazzero, and took my wife to South Haven, Michigan for our anniversary weekend. Those activities reflect several of my passions.
