I'll be honest, every time I tried writing this bio on my own I forgot who I was entirely. I was at such a loss for words I eventually enlisted the help of anyone who knew anything about me. To my relief, an old friend commented on my desperate facebook post, and nailed it! This is what she said: "You're funny, open and outgoing. You always think too hard and you help others as much as possible. You laugh a lot and have a beautiful smile. You can sometimes be a bit weird. You have a big heart and are very friendly." I thought that this was suprisingly accurate coming from someone who hadn't seen me in years. The bulk of her description is pretty spot on even today. I'm funny, although how funny depends on how open and outgoing my audience is; at times, my sense of humor can be inappropriate in any definition of the word. But I'll be anyone's friend and I'm as selfless as they come. I love to laugh and to make people laugh. I think too deeply most of the time, and I'm always learning and searching for ways to improve myself. And I am absolutely “a bit weird!”
As for my writing? It will most likely reflect these characteristics at some point, but it'll probably never be predictable. Being so “open and outgoing” makes me incredibly random. My page will probably look a lot like an online journal with a little bit of everything scribbled inside. One day I might write a short story about a ladybug born in a submarine, and the next produce a thought provoking testimony about God teaching me patience in my marriage, then follow that up with a gummy bear recipe! That is, if I ever actually publish anything! I've been “too busy” to write anything for quite some time. I'm trying to get back into it, but I'm struggling a bit. Couple that issue with the fact that I've always been notorious for over-editing and never being satisfied enough for a final draft, and you may never read anything from me aside from this bio...
