As an avid enthusiast in the field of mobile technology, I have invested time and money on mobile devices and have tinkered with the inner workings of operating systems such as Windows Mobile on my O2 XDA II (2003), Symbian on the Nokia N95 (2007) and Nokia E90 (2008), and lately on the iPhone 3GS (2009). I do not write software and applications for these platforms, but I am always finding ways to push these devices to the best of their capabilities and performance limit. My early days in this arena began with the Palm OS on the original Palm Pilot (1996) and HP48GX (1997), both of which I still have in my drawer to this day. The HP48GX had since been replaced by the latest HP50G.
Recently I started a blog which focused mainly on my personal experience with the iPhone 3GS. This blog may be accessed at www.devonbuy.wordpress.com.
I have also worked with Windows as an operating system, having spent a significant amount of time solving hardware and software problems that crop up occasionally for self, friends and colleagues at the workplace.
As a mechanical engineer by profession serving as consultant to the Ministry of Health of my country for the last 11 years, I believe there are ideas that I could share with the global online community.
As a violinist who performs for TV, radio and CD recordings, there are also likely areas that I could contribute in the (classical) music field. I have also done violin repairs professionally, having learnt the skill briefly in Leeds, UK under the tutelage of Mr Kevin Wilkes of the Newark School of Violin Making.
I collect crystals in their raw form as a hobby, and have in my collection many books on crystals as a mineral as well as the metaphysical energies they are claimed to possess. Growing my collection of crystals is an ongoing process as we speak...
