Persistent! That's the word that should be somehow connected to my name Dominique. In my writings, I hope to inspire, connect, acknowledge, and encourage other women by sharing the moments in my life when persistence had to prevail.

I am and have been a wife, mother, homestay mom/guardian to international students, teacher, business woman, and homeschool mom.My family has also had to raise our daughter who has ADHD and highly gifted which has had it's own challenges.

I have suffered years of infertility and ectopic pregnancies, experienced a failed adoption, finally adopting, and now for the past few years dealing with Multiple Sclerosis.

With all of that said, I am persistent and have been encouraged to be courageous and live a fulfilled life. Join me as I share my journey and perhaps touch your life in one way or another.
