Dr. Ann Marie Egloff was born in Owosso, Michigan, in a family where the values of education and community service were deeply ingrained. At Swartz Creek High School, she demonstrated academic excellence, receiving honors in math and science. Dr. Egloff continued her education at the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Her early research focused on molecular cloning and the evaluation of small-molecule inhibitors used to target cancer and metabolic diseases, earning her recognition within the company.
Her research passion led her to pursue a PhD in Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
