Dr Boone Doherty

Dr. Boone Dorherty is not a real doctor, he was briefly a licensed physician working as a family medicine resident, but now he does something much more humanitarian and important; internet blogging. His four years at an osteopathic medical school, B.S. In microbiology, and publication in Neuroscience have taught him a great deal about the fragility of the human mind and body and nothing about the proper use of the semicolon.

Indeed. Writing was not his first love, but it was his mid-life, age inappropriate mistress in that she's an attractive prospect which will likely end in financial disaster. What happened between Dr. Doherty and madam Medicine was this. Dr. Doherty slipped into a deep, near suicidal depression, after finding himself three-hundred thousand dollars in debt while being forced to choose between keeping his medical license or living with his family in Kyoto, Japan. He loved medicine but babies don't come from hospitals now do they, so being a doctor which he had wanted to do since he was 4 years old was no longer an option. From the rock bottom of the pit of his despair the good doctor made two discoveries. The first was that it's very hard to tie noose while having a panic attack. In fact I still can't remember if the bunny goes back around the tree a second time before going back in the hole. But the second thing he discovered was that, rather than a "chemical imbalance", he was making himself miserable, and he could just as easily make himself well again.

And so he has. Now over educated and under medicated Dr. Boone Doherty has hit the internet like a difficult vaginal delivery. We are all glad it's happened, but no one will want to look at his junk for quite a while. His goal is to help others like himself follow his path to happiness and prosperity, or perhaps to disaster and ruin. Either is fine, he just doesn't want to go by himself and hopes you'll chip in for gas.
