I always hate this part as it always makes me feel like I am writing something for a “who are you” section on a Cupid.com profile.
This kind of thing seems to contain all the usual fluff that seems it is meant to impress others or contain mainly useless facts. Very rarely do they ever seem to contain any true indication of the type of person who writes it.
But to fill this requirement, I grudgingly submit the following:
I live in the St. Louis Mo area. I work in retail (car sales). I am single so other than a Mother and 2 sister not really any family to speak of. I like playing the PS3, Sims 3, Civilization 5, TV, reading and Doctor Who.
Interests ... baseball, Hooters waitresses (daydream with me for a moment then read on), and once I get through this discernment process, I will be a priest (someday). I know from Hooters to a priest. If I had time I might explain the behind the scenes joke behind that connection, but for now just know that it is intensely funny in a personal way.
Regardless, my goal for doing this class is to have my BA in Religion, which is a step in the process of becoming a priest. I have a long path to get there, but with God's grace I will one day serve the people of God "in persona Chirsti".
Other than that, I am just not real talkative about myself.
"At its head is Christ himself, the principal agent of the Eucharist. He is high priest of the New Covenant; it is he himself who presides invisibly over every Eucharistic celebration. It is in representing him that the bishop or priest acting in the person of Christ the head (in persona Christi capitis) presides over the assembly, speaks after the readings, receives the offerings, and says the Eucharistic Prayer. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1348)."
