My name is Grace, I have been Silversmithing ~ Metalsmitning for three year now, and I am a volunteer instructor at our local Lapidary and Mineral Club. I enjoy creating the stones that I use in my silver, bronze, copper & brass pieces. My jewelery collection comes to life as a result of my daily interactions with family, friends and the many Earthy Birthy Womyn who inspire me. I am also a novice spinner. I got started with my Tom Forrester, Linum high whorl spindle a few years ago. I also have a handmade spinning wheel made from cherry wood gathered on the artisan’s property. I’ve been knitting for a very long time now, notorious for not using patterns, or altering them beyond recognition. I don’t stick to the rules of knitting often enough, I adore my River John Needles. I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, painting, sculpting and gardening.. oh and of course knitting, spinning, and now blacksmithing! Life is Good!
