I am a 30-something Filipina-American living with her parents, and don't have much takers in the employment world. I eventually would like to get well and fit for a change, move into an apartment of my own, and continue college with a very affordable career school - Penn Foster - to eventually become a medical transcriptionist.

I love music, movies and TV shows - mostly in the horror, fantasy, and sci-fi genres, but I'm flexible when I know it is a great piece! I am very open-minded, friendly, and straight-forward - once you get to know me, but it's better for me if I don't divulge that I may be inappropriate at times. Oops!

I also love animals and nature (I got 3 dogs!), and find it comforting and refreshing whenever I get the chance to get outside, even though nothing compares to the Botanical Gardens and the beach in Santa Barbara.

I haven't had the chance to do all the things I really want to do with my life. Becoming a blogger has given me a new way to speak my mind, be myself, and communicate with others.

It's been hard living in a rather isolated little town, but I like to make the best of things. (The cows and horses graze by themselves, why shouldn't I?!)

I have high hopes that this blogging venture goes well, because it's just another means to obtaining more freelance writing and blogger opportunities, such as becoming a Contributing Writer for About.com and offering my services on freelance websites (e.g. LinkedIn, elance, freelance, FreelanceWriting.com, etc.), and eventually getting enough experience (and gull) to contribute to popular blogs and publications. Some of the few I'm setting my sights on are BuzzFeed, LiveLoveHealth, and About.com - the latter which offers about $600 for 10-12 articles per month. Not to bad - for me, anyway.

Once I've established my own blog, I want to have fun with it by talking to my viewers through Skype, making fun videos, and just blogging about stuff I love to read, societal/cultural concerns, and something I am creatively working on - which would be along the lines of clothing and a green/organic line that would be another at-home small business venture I want to work on.

Like I said, I have plans, but realistically I still need to cash to do it all. So, here I am trying to get my blog on to make my dreams come true.
