My name is Keith Bartlett, and I am a writer by trade and a lay scientist by inclination. I started writing early, but even earlier still I developed an interest in how everything around me works.
As I grew older, I found that scientific principles could usually offer answers to my questions in that vein. However, these answers were not always concise, not always easy to understand. To be sure, I love a challenge, so I've whiled away plenty of time doing research on whichever topics have struck my fancy.
As I've carried on with that, I've found that even the things we take for granted on a daily basis can be truly fascinating if we look closely enough. That some people pass through life unaware of these marvels occurring at their feet is unfortunate to me. I prefer to do what I can to share in this wonder with those around me.
And so, my love for writing and science collide. I learn for learning's sake, and do my best to pass it on. Ideally, I would change some minds and maybe spark some conversations. At the very least, I'd like to cultivate in my readers a greater appreciation for our universe and those things that make it tick.
