In 1985, Corey graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science specializing in operating systems and programming. He began working at Boeing Military Airplanes in Wichita, Kansas on the operating systems for military aircraft.

In 1990 Corey was called into the ministry. He began working with youth with Kansas City Youth for Christ (now Youthfront) and graduated from their school, Christ Unlimited Bible Institute. Later, he joined New Jerusalem Missions in Wichita, ministering to the needs of those who were affected by AIDS.

In 1998, Corey went to Seattle, Washington to work for Albion Technology, a computer consulting firm. He moved back to Wichita in 1999 and established Icthus Technology to serve the needs of home and business owners of PCs, servers, and networks throughout the Wichita, Kansas area. Since then he has established relationships with hundreds of customers along with local vendors and consultants to provide the support necessary for his customers.

In 2010, Corey started Syncdroid.net, a website dedicated to helping Android users sync their data to Microsoft Outlook.

Corey took the name Icthus Technology to represent his faithful Christian beliefs. Icthus has two meanings. One is Greek for “fish”, which is an ancient symbol representing Christians. The second is a Latin acrostic meaning “Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Savior.”
