Evyatar Nitzany is the former Electrophysiology Program Manager at El Camino Health in Mountain View, California. With more than ten years of dedicated experience, he brought a focused and disciplined approach to managing cardiac care operations in a demanding and rapidly evolving field. His contributions included developing high-performing service lines, overseeing complex infrastructure efforts, and leading initiatives that resulted in program accreditation and national-level recognition.
Evyatar combined hands-on clinical knowledge with technical insight to guide decision-making and long-term planning. His work played a key role in advancing the electrophysiology program, making it one of the fastest-growing and most advanced in the region. Through consistent execution and collaboration with multiple teams, he delivered measurable improvements that supported both patient outcomes and system-wide goals.
His early life instilled in him a strong sense of purpose and structure, which continued to guide him throughout his academic and professional pursuits. His education began in the United States, where he pursued an interest in biotechnology. Nitzany earned a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Florida and completed a minor in Chemistry. He later obtained a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of California, Irvine. To further specialize in cardiac care, he attended the Cardiac Specialist Program at the Arrhythmia Technologies Institute in Greenville, South Carolina, where he received advanced training in electrophysiology.
His professional career started at Biosense Webster as a Clinical Account Specialist. In that role, Evyatar supported the CARTO 3 mapping system and worked closely with physicians and hospital teams throughout the Bay Area. His scope included clinical support, physician training, and engagement with hospital administrators. In 2016, he joined El Camino Health as an Electrophysiology Coordinator, where he was responsible for providing clinical case support, managing capital budgeting, planning equipment, and conducting staff training.
By 2019, his role expanded to cover Interventional Radiology, and he led initiatives involving supply chain coordination, equipment acquisition, and standardization of procedures. In 2022, he was promoted to Program Manager for both departments. Under his leadership, the electrophysiology program experienced a 400% increase in volume, driven by strategic planning and collaboration with medical staff and administrators. Nitzany also directed the development of new EP labs and played a central role in securing Cath/EP accreditation from the American College of Cardiology. His work was featured in EP Lab Digest, highlighting the program’s accomplishments under his direction.
He holds certification as a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) and has contributed to various community efforts, including support for Jewish organizations, educational programs, youth sports, and the arts.
Evyatar Nitzany remains committed to advancing cardiac electrophysiology through careful program leadership, strategic execution, and collaboration that promotes high standards in healthcare.
