Janet Rolla (Farkle)

Janet Rolla has worked for an animal hospital accredited through the American Animal Hospital Association. In this role, severral highlights of her responsabilities included reviewing medical records, patient triage, filling prescriptions, restraining fractious dogs and cats, and conducting rounds for hospitalized pets.

Her favorite part of working for the animal hospital was the opportunity to shadow a veterinarian specializing in eye disorders in pets attracting clients from diverse locations.

Janet has always had a sweet spot for dogs and has been blogging about the health of dogs and their wellbeing since 2007 for a variety of websites and print magazines including Reader's Digest and The Every Dog Magazine.

Janet is currently dedicated to advancing her veterinary career and aspires to be joining one day the team at VCA Animal Hospital in her hometown. In the meantime, as she continues her studies, she is committed to providing valuable information about dogs.

Prior to jumping into the veterinary field, Janet has worked as a certified pharmacy technician and security officer for an Army Base in Germany.

When Jane is not writing, she is often writing, cooking or hiking with her foster dogs.
