I am a science teacher of brilliant students in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry. I am a detailed oriented person who after 20 years active duty Air Force where I had a job that required me to be observant of the areas I inspected in great detail and that health and safety of the employees was important and was affected by my reports. While in the Air Force I had the extraordinary experiences of traveling to almost every continent and many countries and cities and was required to work with local professionals and other people alike. I retired and went to work for Clark County where I worked with a varied demographic of employees. After eight years I left and started teaching (my passion) first English, then Chemistry, now I teach Geometry, Chemistry, and Pre-Calculus at the high school level. I have a passion for people and can initiate and carry a meaningful conversation with almost anyone I meet. I am the person who will say hello to whomever is next to me in the grocery line. I have supervised and or managed up to 13 personnel, and have been responsible for the health and safety of over 250 employees. I am tech-savvy, computer literate and keep up with almost all the new gadgets as a member of the CES…which I have attended each year for the past seven years. I am an active minister at the church I attend who was selected to train new ministers. I have co-authored a book on ministry and love to read. I have an eclectic taste in books and movies. I love trying foods form different parts of the world and have a secondary passion for cooking. I love the challenge of cooking foods for friends who tried a dish they really liked in a restaurant. I have had extensive training in customer service and training to include some train-the-trainer level instruction that was very valuable when I was a product demonstrator of various electronic products from medium to high end where I trained sales personnel on new products they were to sell.
