My name is Galadriel Thoman, named after the elf queen from the book Lord of the Rings. I am 34 and have two boys, a fiance, and I am working on a Masters degree in forensic psychology. I know a little bit about a lot of things, and a lot about a few things. I have been reading and writing since the age of three; I was a prodigy but being called a prodigy and two bucks will get you...not very much these days. I have a lifelong dedication to the truth. If what I say turns out to not be true, it was merely an error in research, and not deliberate. I have my opinions, of course, and they are strong ones, but I try very hard to have everything I say backed up with some kind of empirical evidence. So I have that going for me. I am passionate about many things, so I will write about many things. That's how I roll.

From the time of...well, creation, there have been creation myths. From all over the world societies have their own notions about how we came to be. In this essay I reflect on but a few of those.
