I've been a freelance writer for over 10 years. There are several topics which I'm knowledgeable and passionate about that I intend to share here:

Weight Loss Surgery - In September 2015 I had gastric bypass surgery and have kept off 175 pounds. This procedure saved my life and ended my life-long battle with obesity that I've struggled with since I was a child.

Travel - Traveling is my passion and I love to go on frequent mini-road trips throughout Arizona as well as long trips around the world. My guilty travel pleasure is Disney! Yes, I'm obsessed with theme parks and go at least once a year.

Women's Golf - In the last few years I started playing golf. It's a challenging game that's incredibly fun. I've been taught by my husband who is an excellent golfer (he used to play professionally) and I will share my experiences learning the game and finding the right equipment.

Science - My educational background is in the life sciences and I've worked with many freelance clients in the medical field. I'm always staying up on the latest biological research as well as proven systems regarding science education. I have a Masters of Biomedical Science and a Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry.

Collectible Books - I've been a life-long collector of vintage books (mainly 1st editions and leather-bound) and have acquired many beautiful collections and have read many incredible authors.

Dogs - I have 2 rescue dogs, a terrier and a Chihuahua mix. My dog Hooch is diabetic which comes with many challenges. I've found several products that have been essential to his health and getting his diabetes under control.

Freelancing - I've been a freelance writer for 10+ years. Marketing yourself as a writer and landing quality, high-paying clients is extremely challenging. I'll share what's worked for me and what hasn't.
