Hellow every body,
My name is Vinjamuri Kameswera Rao and I live in India in the state of Andhra Pradesh. I am a retred officer of the State Government. I retired in the year 2009 on superannuation.. I have a Masters degree in Public Administration and another Masters diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. I am a self made man with lots of ups and downs. I am a well read person.
I have four brothers and one sister. I am eldest of the family. My fater passed away in the year 1973 when I was 21 years and the youngest brother was 9 years old. Literally, my father left the entire family forlorn and penny less. After my fathers death my mother wanted to live separately, against the wishes of her eldest brother, who invited us to live with them. This dicision was proved to be very wise in the years to come. We had nothing to fall back up on, except my 11+1 pass qualification and my first younger brother's 10 pass.
My father died while working as an officer in the department of Fisheries of the state of AP. He was a very unlucky man, for he died early at 40 plus and all through his life he had to struggle hard to make ends meet. He was a very nice and very gregarious person and always loved to have people around him. But, he was knaive and gullible and lacked tact.
We started living on our own from the year 1974 in one single room. From 1974 to 1977, till I secured a job the life we lead was horrible. Me and my first younger brother used to do some odd jobs and my mother used to stitch clothes and with this money we used to make a living. There were days of total starvation. Some times, with the little money we had we used to buy either broken rice or wheat flour and eat with out any curry or dal.
In the year 1974 a medical student by name Jacob from kerala state met me and requested me to help him in doing a charity work to help leprosy pationents, as he did not know the local lanquage. During the course of this work we both used to meet the District Collector Sri U.B.Ragahavendra Rao very regular. He came to know about my background and he was impressed with my charity work. Then, he took interest on me and fought with the Government and secured me a Clerk job in the Fisheries department. I joined in the job in the month of November 1977. Now, both of them are no more. Sri UBR died in an accident way back in 1980s and Dr Jacob died in 2010 due to bad health.
I got married in the year 1976 in exchange of my sister to the brother of my wife. We had taken another room at this juncture. We could start living with little happiniess after I took up the job.
Immediately after joining in the job, first thing I did was to pursue my studies privately. I acquired Masters degree in Public Administration and another Masters diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management by the year 1983. Though, I got two departmental promotions in my career and retired as a Gezetted Officer, I missed a few very good opportunities of Personnel Officer jobs in Banks, may be due to my bad luck.
I have always been a voracious reader since my teens. Perhaps, it is due to this reading habit that I have acquired good command on english language. I have read Earl Stanely Gardner, Chase, Irving Wallace, Sydney Sheldon, Robin Cook, Jeffery Archer, Robert Loodlum, Harrold Robbins, Ayan Rand etc. Due to work pressure there was a few years gap in reading. After retirement, I have strted reading again.
In the 59 years journey, I have learnt so many things about human psyche. After my thirties, I never felt incomplete and always tried to learn and improve. I have always been a happy go lucky guy type and people always loved to have my company. During my career spanning 32 years, I was the most sought after officer in the department for any type of content writing, official and personal.
I have a daughter and a son, both are married and living separately. I have three naughty and hyper active grand children. I have no regrets in my life. I always believe in living and hope for a better tomorrow. I have always been a very sophisticated person and intend to remain as such.
