I'm João Pereira, from Portugal and I've been working on live shows since 1998, mainly focused on show production and sound engineering.
Since that time, I was able to experience a vast number of roles on live shows and got my work projected through several genres and sizes of events and performances and in some of the most respectable venues in Portugal.
After some years handling show promotion and production, I took 11 years of production and technical direction at Hard Club.
From 2003 to 2007 on the first Hard Club venue, in Vila Nova de Gaia.
2007 through 2010 I spent my time between the project for the new Hard Club venue, in Porto, and the road handling PA assemblies, FOH and monitors sound, stage management for some events and festivals and some freelance show production.
In 2010, with the Hard Club reponening in it's new location, I set ground as the prodution director and technical director for the now established new venue and kept there until 2014, when I took mainly live shows and touring as a sound engineer and stage manager.
Around 2013 I started the Stage Center Blog website, with the goal to document some of my experiences on the road and as a place where anyone may promote the work of the road and show crews that battle everyday for other people's entertainment.
At the present time, I keep up on the live show job I adore and am dedicating myself to a Electronics and Computers Engineering course, which is other of my passions.
