I love the color 'country blue, computers, reading books on my Kindle and garage sales. I also love my Apple Laptop, working on the family tree and my family calls me "granny". I worked for 37 years. I have been a Personal Affairs counselor, a Casualty Assistance Counselor, a Family Support Center director, and a Relocation Assistance Manager. I married, had a daughter and son. I have lived in Izmir, Turkey and in several other places. Living and traveling overseas was really a dream come true. Later when I became a single mom, I added income by sawing and painting my kids way through college making country wood crafts in the evenings and on Saturday I painted on anything that didn't get up and walk off. I do not climb, surf or create software, but I retired, do computer work for my son, take pictures, and do things with my grandchildren. I like to sit on my screened-in front porch with my television and my laptop. That about covers it, stop by my blog sometime.

We don't have to leave town to find a scarey place. We have buildings with spooky backgrounds, a neighborhood built over an old cemetery, a room where it is said John Wilkes Booth died and more.

Wow, take an ugly piece of junk, clean it off and when it's dry, paint it. You now have a really neat, new looking item with guests wondering where it came from. You just bought it, right?
