The Foundation supplements traditional military and veteran healthcare with evidence-based therapies, including Stellate Ganglion Block treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder, infrared light therapy, and advanced recovery systems designed to reduce inflammation, support rehabilitation, and enhance physical and emotional well-being. Within this effort, Task Force Tatanka plays an essential role by promoting psychological health and resilience through peer support, family engagement, and performance-based wellness practices tailored to the demands of Special Forces life.
In addition to its health initiatives, the Foundation offers immediate financial relief through its Casualty Support program, assisting families with managing travel, lodging, and emergency expenses during times of injury or crisis. GBF also stands firmly with Gold Star families and survivors, providing long-term advocacy and emotional support that honors their loved ones’ sacrifices. The Next Ridgeline program supports Green Berets transitioning to civilian life, providing career preparation, scholarships, and guidance for achieving post-military success. Veteran Services Officers within the Foundation further strengthen this mission by helping Soldiers and their families access VA benefits, securing millions of dollars in monthly support.
The Foundation also recognizes the vital role of families through initiatives such as the Steel Mags program and educational scholarships for spouses and children. Since its inception, the Green Beret Foundation has provided over $28 million in direct assistance and supported more than 26,000 families.
