Joined 6 years ago from Gardiner, New York and Joshua Tree, California
I began climbing in the spring of 2004, and have gotten out about a hundred days each year. The Shawangunks of New York is my home crag, and Joshua Tree in California is my Crag Away from Crag! I've done a few visits to other places - Yosemite, Seneca Rock, Horse Pens 40, to name a few. I love the whole lifestyle, and also being part of the climbing community by doing trailwork. I volunteer in the Gunks each Sunday during the season, helping to build, restore and rehab the access trails to the cliffs. In 2006, I began using my creative talents to design t-shirts and giftware for climbers. My online shop is ClimbAddict. Pop over and take a look! I also blog about climbing and the adventuring lifestyle at Happiegrrrl Climbing. Along with climbing, the site features landscape and wildlife photography, tips on campsite cooking and information on land stewardship and getting involved in the outdoor recreation community.

Whether you are coming to Joshua Tree to rock climb, hike, birdwatch, plant-gaze, or work (it's a great photographer's location), a little bit of info can make the trip more pleasurable.
