I have a BS in Biology (psych minor) with a concentration in zoology/animal behavior. I have worked at a veterinary clinic for four years and I am also working toward an AAS in veterinary technology. I have volunteered at my local zoo for over five years and also volunteer at my local animal shelter. I have five dogs as well as herps, guinea pigs and a bird. I am also a member of the ABS and SVBT.

Ringworm is a dermatophyte, meaning a fungus that feeds on keratin: skin, hair, nails, etc. More specifically, ringworm feeds on the outer layer of skin and hair follicles, and this causes the hair to become brittle and break.
