Heba El Moaz is born in Cairo, Egypt in 1982 where she currently lives and works. El Moaz was graduated from Cairo University Commerce in 2003. She has been an art enthusiast ever since. After quitting her telecommunication career in 2014, she started managed SOMA Art School an gallery in 2015, SOMA is an art space in Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt that offers an extensive educational program in visual art with an accompanying exhibition and programming agenda also offering amateurs and pros an ongoing platform for artists to meet up, learn, interact and get more exposure to opportunities & to bridge with more established ones.
El Moaz is passionate about art and contemporary art in general and highly believes in the Egyptian emerging talented artists in specific. She believes that all they need is to bridge with role models & success stories in order to get inspired and they will do miracles.
