Hi, I am a retired nurse. I specialized in Pediatrics for many years, and am certified as a chronic care management clinician. I retired 3 years ago because I day traded and managed my own financing. Yup, even with the market “crashing”.

Because of my background in health I have been motivated to combine exercise and healthy eating as a lifestyle since the age of 19.

Using home exercise videos and participating in community athletic events has given me the confidence to refer to myself as an endurance athlete. Don’t laugh there are many of us “old folks” running marathons, skiing 35 miles, and completing 100 mile bike rides.

In addition, I enjoy cooking, fishing, kayaking, the stock market, and travel and am an avid reader (hurrah for the Kindle.)

Currently I am enjoying life with my husband, son, and dog.
