My name is Hope. I am a 39 year old wife and mother: exactly what I said I wanted to be when I was a child, I just took a detour on my way here.
In 2010 I was diagnosed with brain cancer and after having a golf ball portion of my brain removed to stabalize it, I have found myself on the journey of a life time. I found that life without living isn't really a life at all. I have learned to find purpose and joy in things I never would have considered prior to my diagnosis and have been blessed with support from family, friends and some amazing people.
Most of what I will write about here is my experience with cancer, dementia, amnesia, depression and anxiety due to my surgery and my personal journey to become a better wife and mother than I ever was with a full mind. I am very open about my situation, but please be patient with me if it takes me a couple of days to respond, somedays are better than others!
