I'm a country girl from rural upstate CNY that is new to Squidoo. I enjoy writing, fishing, horses, the internet, movies, and our "critter-shack" home. I'm a proud grandparent of 3 boys and 3 girls. I've been known to have some very old fashioned beliefs about life and back-to-basics ideals. I have a very open mind when it comes to religion, but I can't stand the ignorance of politics (nor the politicians, themselves). I work full time in manufacturing and tend to be a jack of all trades. A talent that rubbed off on me from my father. I am constantly looking for new ways to have a "Plan B" in life. I've learned the hard way in my travels, that this is a good trait to possess. It has kept me above water on many occasions. I never put all my eggs in one basket and I always try to appreciate the blessings I have, no matter how small.
