Hello, Hubpage world! I'm new to this place, but if anyone has any questions concerning rabbits, let me know and I'll write an article about it.
A bit about me...
I adopted my first pet rabbit when I was 9 years old. Back then, I lived in a residental housing neighborhood and we weren't allowed to keep much more than a dog or cat, and since I'm fairly allergic to both, a rabbit became my solution to pet ownerdom. Fast forward a few years later, and I graduated from my little pet Holland Lop and yard sale acquired Cinnamon doe to 4-H fairs and the purebred show world of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. Thanks to ARBA and friends in my 4-H club, I have raised Dwarf Hotots, Holland Lops, Harlequins, and Silver Fox rabbits. That's not to say the occasional stray Netherland Dwarf, American Fuzzy Lop, and Florida White rescues in my barn as well.
Rabbits are great pets, and if you are thinking of getting one, there is a wealth of information online and in your local bookstores. If you really want the scoop on raising purebreed, registered rabbits and how to show them at ARBA shows, feel free to use me! I'm happy to share what I know.
