I am a freelance writer and part-time researcher, although I spend most of my time as a chauffeur and conflict mediator for my four kids.
When not wrangling the troops, I spend as much time as possible training for triathlons and taking long runs to maintain my sanity. And no matter what the season, if a nor'easter rolls in you'll find me surfing in the often frigid waters of Rhode Island.
I write about what I know; running, race training, parenting, surfing, travel, and the general mayhem that surrounds a family of six. This also means I write about life's challenges, mainly living with Crohn's Disease, and making sure that every healthy day is enjoyed to the fullest.
