Once upom a time, I was on first name terms with members of the House of Lords, and known as "a Diamond Geezer" by a celebrity ex villain and lived a very colourful life in a big house in the country.

I was born into great poverty, but from wonderful parents. Their love gave me a unique perspective on life that has led to great adventures. I have travelled and helped make lots of money for a few people.

I loathe people who think that money and privilege make them superior to the rest. I despise bigotry, rudeness and violence. I will often poke fun at the so called "class system" but also offer insights into that closed world I once had such ease of access to.

When I became broke, I trained and worked as a chef with some talented people; food has been a hobby ever since. I once was so poor and friendless, that a life and eventual death in anonymity on the streets, was a distinct possibility.

With all that behind me, including an ex wife who once worked for M.I.5., I now live again in the country, more modestly, growing some of my own food, reading and studying just to stay healthy in mind and body. I have lots to write about - I hope that you'll find some of it, interesting. . .
