Joined 9 years ago from Clemson, South Carolina
My name is Jake Greene and I currently live in Clemson, SC with my wife Julie and our dog Chester. I am entering a graduate program in English at The University of Florida this fall. My reading/writing interests include rhetoric, technology, writing studies, and new media studies. I joined hubpages becuase I am interested in online writing communities from both a personal and professional level. I also joined with the intention of implementing hubpages into my teaching curriculum with the eventual aim of using it to replace the archaic ritual that is the traditional research paper. My hobbies include playing music (guitar and bass), being outdoors (hiking and biking), and watching shows with my wife on Netflix (mostly Breaking Bad at the moment).
