61Biographies....interesting and difficult to describe yourself when many of us are so complex and still discovering new things about ourselves almost on a daily basis. Well to start with I am a creative person, qualified Graphic Designer with and Honours degree and specialised in Typography. As a creative I find myself being drawn to trying out more and exporing different avenues that could potentially be simultaneous career paths. Iv been a lecturer, I now enjoy cake decorating (to me its design with different mediums) and and glass etching. I ADORE reading and am a slef confessed nerd and very proud of it, I have recently acquired an ereader because many books I enjoy have stopped being "in print" so I have to go with the flow.....pros-saves a LOT of space when travelling, cons- no more new book smell and you risk your battery dying. I consume knowledge shows like oxygen, love reading about history and mythology. have been studying music and art since I could walk courtesy of my immensely talented dad (may he rest in peace).
I enjoy dancing and have studied ballet since I could walk (courtesy of my mom being one of those incredible all rounders and a former prinicipal dancer). I have a love of chocolate milk, stuffed animals (particularly sheep,cows and owls) and balloons even at my age.
I work for an NGO so have begun to appreciate the fields of entrepreneurship, marketing, public relations, social media and strategic thinking, which are all fields I intend to further educate myself on. I now am furthering my knowledge in the medical field and aspire to be a paramedic if I can, one never knows when you can be the crucial person needed in a situation, and for someone like me thats a problem solver by nature, that is right up my alley.
It also helps that I am very into my volunteer work (particularly the environment, animal and cancer charities) and get a great sense of satisfaction in helping others. The Bio seems so basic, but I am still on the path from being the "chameleon child" afraid of her own shadow to exploring and discovering things about myself and whats out there on a daily basis.
So as far as a bio goes, this is what I can offer to the people out there, but I do intend on broadening it and rediscovering my love of writing(which comes from my intense love of reading) and expressing myself and my views to likeminded people out there- be warned, some hubs or articles I write might be SO random, but it will be food for thought and hopefully at least make someone smile or laugh- lets face it, who doesnt need extra dosages these days of that?. So I look forward to being part of the Hub community :)
