Shaman, lightworker, wisdom elder, energy healer, and visionary author, Jaguar Woman was educated at some of the best Institutes in the country in cutting edge, process-oriented therapies, as well as by Spirit through years of Dreamtime revelation.
From youth, Jaguar Woman began developing her own brand of integrated psychology, synthesizing Eastern and Western World Religions, indigenous spirituality and sacred technologies. Her journey as a healer has included the study and practice of the Toltec Path, concepts and methods of Process-Oriented Psychology, and extensive utilization of the medium of writing and other expressive arts in an attempt to understand and effectively utilize the forces around her for the higher good. Her 25 years' experience as a counselor includes working with individuals and groups in the areas of chemical dependency, eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, personal individuation and empowerment, life-threatening illness, physical disabilities, sexual assault and incest survival. Specializing in women's issues, interpersonal communication, spiritual development and personal evolution, her goal is to assist others in the synthesis of past and present through the integration of body, mind, spirit; earth, emotion and divinity.
Jaguar Woman’s educational background includes studies in Psychiatry and Biochemistry at the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine and a degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon. She holds a Master's in Culture and Spirituality from Holy Names College and did doctoral studies in Transpersonal Psychology at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology, where she also completed a Master's Certificate in Expressive Arts. Jaguar Woman has studied with the founders of psychodrama, ecopsychology and poetry therapy as well as with the Process Work Institute, Matrix Energetics, the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and individual shamans, such as Alberto Villoldo, in the Huichol, Lakota Sioux, and Incan traditions.
A supporting member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners, Jaguar Woman is a shaman and mesa holder of the Incan lineage, having received the rites of transmission of the Inca spirit guides and ancestors in official ceremony. A licensed minister, she can also perform weddings, rites and other rituals in a legal capacity. Jaguar Woman is a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho and Seichim systems, a light worker, DNA activator, and crystal healer who has spent years being cleared and taught via the Dreamtime to ground and work with Higher Dimensional Beings and energies.
