I am a molecular biologist with a career interest in forensic genetics. I graduated with a BS in molecular biology from the University of California - San Diego in 2018 and am currently completing my MS in forensic science at the University of New Haven. As a conservative evangelical Christian, I am also interested in studying philosophy, theology, and apologetics on the side. I was born and raised in Sourthern California, growing up in El Monte and later moving to Diamond Bar in the 8th grade. Both of my parents immigrated in the early 1990s from the city of Jiangmen in China's Guangdong province and worked hard to learn the English language and earn a middle class lifestyle. My father is a manager at a wholesale bakery and my mother is an accountant at Cal State Fullerton, where my younger brother Kevin is studying computer science.
