I'm 52 and unemployed due to back problems. I've found myself with alot of spare time now. Just sitting around or watching movies or reading books and eatting then sleeping is not the rut I want to find myself in.
Not having Internet for a few months has given me time to create a file I call "Desktop of My Mind". I like to think about different things like music theory or paranormal activities or the unexplained; I've watched lots of movies and love the Martial Arts films. ( thank you Bruce Lee )
I try to keep an open mind about things but, on the whole, my perception of things tends to have a Christian slant to them. My Mom was Italian so, you guess what religion she was. The Catholic religion was not cramed down my neck thanks to my Father. But, my love for Mom has made giving God an honest look very easy. By the way, I'm not a Catholic ...... in fact, ...... I claim no denomination and cringe at even calling myself "Christian" simply because I don't live like one.
That being said, I have one sister who has a masters degree, another sister who teaches in Hawaii, a brother who has never smoked or drank a drop of alchohol who has a son teaching at the community college in his neighborhood, and one other sister who has passed on but she was a wonder to me. I could be looking for a 4-leaf clover in the lawn for an hour and she'd walk up, look for 20 seconds and hand me not 1 but 2 of them. WOW!!!!
Oh ......... I'm sorry! This was to be about me. I have 5 years of college education and held an A to B+ average in most of my classes. My best classes were Physics (3.95GPA) and Math (3.85GPA). I never took one lesson yet can play guitar, bass, piano, drums, have written a few songs for my use, been in two bands and have studied music theory, on my own, so I could understand what I was doing. I have been known to sit and read the dictionary. ( you should try it! can be interesting )
I'm not saying I am some great what-ever, in fact, relationships are not my good suite. I have spend plenty of time pondering in anguish over the "could'ofs or would'ofs or should'ofs". I do believe that, because of my failures in relationships, I've developed a caring desire to fix or help, somehow, others in emotional pains due to marrital problems.
Well, just give me a keyboard and ask me a question!!! Before you know it ..... Bam ..... a page of words roles onto the page.
I do hope this bit of info. lets you see a bit of my heart and soul. Thats what you'll get if you ask me a question.
Thanks All, James
