Hi, Dave here, my username around the web to do with metal detecting is Janner53. Welcome to my Hub.
I have a real passion for metal detecting and can't get enough of it. When I'm not working I'll be out detecting, if not out detecting I'm surfing the internet for juicy gossip on metal detecting. I've created myself a Blog and while browsing the internet the other day I came across these Hub pages. So I thought, lovely, another way to chat about metal detecting...so here I am.
This Hub is mainly aimed at people that are thinking about taking up the hobby of metal detecting, but if you are already a detectorist and you find something of interest here, thats makes me happy. Any questions about metal detecting I would be glad to answer. I'm not an expert, but i will try to help.. The amount of time I spend on the internet if i don't know about something, I'm sure i can find it out.

Thinking about taking up metal detecting or just curious as to what is found. Here I did a quick rummage around looking for common and the odd not so common finds that are made whilst metal detecting.

Metal Detecting or Treasure Hunting is a great hobby. It can be profitable. You get fresh air, exercise, and it don't have to be expensive to start. In fact you can be up and running for under £200.
