Also follow me on:

Hi there, and thanks so much for stopping by my profile page.

Why do I write about health issues for Hubpages and why should you care?

Firstly, I love doing research, particularly into the health issues that affect, or have affected, me and / or my family. Secondly I really love to write. And lastly, Hubpages has very many quality writers that I enjoy being associated with and whose articles I find interesting and educational.

So I carry out my own in-depth research and write on those health issues which either interest me or affect me or my family directly.

I combine my research with my own experiences and those of my family to provide information in an easy-to-understand way that, hopefully, increases the reader's awareness of the issues surrounding their condition.

I really do believe that this will put them in a better position to discuss their case with their doctor in a more meaningful way. And I'm vehemently in favour of individuals taking responsibility for their own health.

But, please be aware that I am not a doctor or in any way a trained health professional. I just like to take responsibility for my own health and so find out as much as I can about health issues that affect me (and my family) today or may do so in the future.

So anything you read in any of my articles is not meant to be medical advice, and you should not assume otherwise. Anything I write is purely for informational purposes only.

Do not use anything you read in this website to self-diagnose. Attend your doctor. Only your doctor can make a diagnosis.

And before trying any treatments, remedies or tips you may read about on this website, you must first consult your doctor about their suitability for your particular case. You must always be guided by your doctor.
