I am a freelance writer and photographer (at the moment) living in North Texas. My background is in technology and business writing, having worked for Fidelity Investments, Arthur D. Little and a few other companies, creating procedure manuals, technical and management guides. Since moving to Texas in 2007, I became more interested (and involved) in rail-fanning and toy and model trains. I write and maintain several blogs with broad ranging topics, though my HubPages posts are typically train-centric. As a father of four young children, my interests tend to be varied and easily diverted to those of someone else.
