Welcome to my Hub Pages! Just to give you some background about me, I immigrated to the U.S. from Taiwan originally, and since then have lived in the Los Angeles area and then up and down the east coast. Seven years ago I contracted Lyme disease which was not diagnosed until 3 years later. And to this day I am still fighting chronic Lyme disease. Although this has been a tough journey, it has not been without blessings. On journey I have discovered, yoga, meditation, alternative healing methods, and appreciation for all of the encouraging people around me. And in my articles, I want to share with others who are also struggling with chronic illness that you too can be on a journey of healing.
Currently I am also interested in online marketing. My goals in getting involved with this endeavor include: earning extra income, sharing my knowledge about healing from chronic illness, and show others that no matter how difficult your circumstances are, it is possible to find tools to obtain peace within and the hope to go on! As a side note, I am also interested to see whether having more money correlates to greater happiness. This is an experiment that I am conducting and hope to talk about it in my hubs!
Having serious health challenges has also encouraged me to live an eco-friendly lifestyle; in fact, being eco-conscious is one of my passions. And whether at work, home, or in my business endeavor, I make sure that the my lifestyle and companies that I am involved in are environmentally (and socially) responsible.
